Privacy notice

This notice explains how Hogan’s Farm (“we”, “us”) handles personal data when you use this website, place an order, join a waitlist, sign up for updates, or send an enquiry. We process data under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and Irish data protection law.

What we collect

  • Orders: name, email, phone, delivery or collection details, order contents and payment status.
  • Enquiries and waitlists: name or email, message content, and any marketing preference you tick.
  • Technical: essential site data such as your basket in the browser, and optional analytics cookies if you allow them.

Why we use it

  • Contract: to take and fulfil Christmas and farm shop orders, including payment with Stripe.
  • Legitimate interests: to reply to enquiries, run the waitlist for sold-out weight bands, and keep the site secure.
  • Consent: for optional marketing emails and for non-essential cookies. You can withdraw consent at any time.

Who we share it with

We use processors who help us run the site: hosting, secure card payments (Stripe), order storage, and transactional email. They only process data on our instructions. We do not sell your personal data.

Cookies

Essential cookies and similar storage keep your basket and remember your cookie choice. These are required for the shop to work.

Analytics and marketing cookies are optional. They stay off until you turn them on in Cookie settings. You can change that choice whenever you like with the Cookie settings control on every page.

How long we keep it

Order records are kept as long as needed for fulfilment, accounts and legal duties. Enquiry and waitlist records are kept while they are useful for that purpose, then deleted or anonymised. Cookie preference is stored in your browser until you clear it.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of your data, for it to be corrected or deleted, to restrict or object to certain processing, and to withdraw marketing or cookie consent. You also have the right to complain to the Data Protection Commission.
