Hogan’s Farm has reared turkeys at Charlesfort Estate, Kells, since 1962. When you shop with us you are buying a bird prepared fresh on our family farm: no frozen stock held over from another season. Pre-orders open in autumn so we can plan allocation by weight band, then fulfil deliveries and farm collections in the days before Christmas.
Start with the breed. Our Woodland Bronze lives free range in woodland for up to six months and brings a deeper flavour. The Charlesfort White whole turkey is barn reared for a mild, tender roast that suits most Irish tables. The same choice runs through our turkey crowns, boneless breast and boned and rolled joints, so you can match cut to oven space and how your household likes to carve.
Each product page lists live weight bands with serves and guide cooking times. When a band reaches its allocation cap it closes on the storefront and the waitlist opens. Raising the cap on the farm reopens the band and releases people waiting, oldest first. Add a glazed ham, fresh ham or turkey roulade to the same order if you want the supporting joints to arrive together.
